We had a wonderful time strolling around the promenade at Epcot this past weekend for the opening days of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. The addition of the outdoors kitchens make for good eats while looking at the unique Disney character topiaries throughout the park. Fleur de Lys, Florida Fresh and The Smokehouse are my favorite kitchens.
At The Smokehouse the maple bacon stout and piggylicious cupcake are a must try for those who love bacon and want to try a great play on bold flavors. Florida Fresh’s offerings of Shrimp and Grits and the new Blueberry and Lemon Curd Tart are a perfect representation of the Sunshine State’s seafood and citrus bounty.
The pièce de résistance of the festival was the Fleur de Lys kitchen. The Grand Marnier Ice Pop was AWESOME! It is Grand Marnier, Peach Raspberry Vodka Iced Tea in a frozen push pop. So refreshing and you can taste all the different flavor infusions all at once. One of favorite frozen drinks is back as well La Vie en Rose Frozen Slush (Grey Goose Vodka Orange, St-Germain Liquor, White & Red Cranberry Juice).

Don’t forget to get your Garden Passports stamped as you taste around the World Showcase promenade.
Buon Appetito!
