The first event we attended this week was the release of Duffy’s new book “Duffy the Disney Bear Mickey’s New Friend” in Epcot. Illustrator Monty Maldovan was at Mickey Traders signing the new book and if you were an Annual Passholder you received a special t-shirt for your favorite Duffy plush. Monty has designed many of the costumes and bears that are sold at Disney Parks. Cheers to Duffy for being in the United States for one year! We also got to see Duffy in his cute Pumpkin Halloween costume.   In the Festival Center one of the many Food and Wine Festival events taking place is Authors Without Borders. I had the pleasure of meeting cookbook author and Disney Parks columnist Pam Brandon. She is one of my Disney idols and it was so great to be able to meet her in person and have her sign one of her wonderful cookbooks.
