Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in the Magic Kingdom has some tasty Waffle Sandwich specials. Normally this quick service serves up sweets in the likeness of funnel cakes and chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches. These are some of the sweet and savory items that they are serving up.
Nutella and Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich $ 5.59 By far my favorite. I am huge fan of Nutella and the warm waffle and fresh fruit were a delicious treat. Nutella is a chocolate hazelnut spread that is absolutely yummy. I wish there was just a bit more of it added.
Ham, Prosciutto & Swiss Cheese Waffle Sandwich $ 6.99 My husband enjoyed this sandwich because the waffle was softer and sweeter than most bread or rolls. He did find it a bit difficult to eat for the same reason.
Sweet & Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich $ 6.99 Another hit! I really liked this sandwich. It had the right balance of sweetness and spice. I did find the chicken to be a bit greasy but overall is was good.

I’m also a huge fan of the Nutella waffle! It’s such a simple treat, but they really nailed it. I was originally under the impression that it was only going to be offered for special events (e.g. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party), but I’m glad to see that it’s now on the menu full time!!
Definitely going to try the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich when I’m back down in December!
