Kitchen Memories with Chef Emily Ellyn

Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is in full swing and one upcoming event I am completely stoked about is The Kitchen Memories series. My friend Emily Ellyn renowned Chef and Finalist from “Next Food Network Star” will be the celebrated chef demonstrating on Friday, October 12th from 10am – 12pm at the Festival Center in Epcot. This is a 3-course lunch in which Emily will talk about her kitchen memories of growing up in Ohio and her culinary journey that led her to Florida. She will prepare an appetizer, main course and dessert that will be expertly paired with a selection of wines as well as cheese from Chef Tonda Corrente. I am proud to say that I will be assisting Emily as her Sous for this demo and I couldn’t be more excited.

Emily Ellyn

Emily Ellyn is the Home Economics teacher you always wanted!  She takes the retro, remixes it and makes it rad.  She encourages everyone to dig through their mom’s recipe boxes, dust off their pressure cookers and crock pots, and take the old and make it new through retro recipe re-dos!  Emily Ellyn currently divides her time between finishing her Ph.D. in Food Service Education, traveling the world teaching food and beverage classes, doing consulting work, and developing her Retro Rad culinary TV career after competing on The Food Network’s “Next Food Network Star.” We will really look forward to you joining us and have some scrumptious eats!
