The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival presented by HGTV is a spring special event filled with Disney character topiaries, loads of flowers, gardens and live music. The festival is held from March 2 to May 15, 2011. I love seeing the character topiaries. Last year they had Pixie Hollow  Fairy Garden and Princess Tiana’s Wedding Bayou. It was amazing to see the intricate work that takes place throughout Epcot. The bursting colors of the flowers and plants are everywhere you look. This year they will have Disney-Pixar character topiaries, such as Woody, Buzz and Lotso plus the guys from Cars 2!  I am really looking forward to seeing them and Rapunzel’s Tower from Tangled! They have themed weekends with various celebrities from HGTV giving demonstrations as well as Epcot gardening experts.  Some of the special experiences are an extra charge so be sure to pick up a brochure to see what may interest you. If you are a fan of music from 60’s and 70’s then the Flower Power Concert Series is for you. Special acts will perform in the America Gardens Theatre on select dates. Here is the schedule.
