New Free Mobile App For 2011 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

© Disney
The new mobile app allows guests attending Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival to easily navigate through the different kiosk offerings and events from their cell phones. It is very simple to use, by scanning the above QR code will allow you access to the app. The navigating menus include: Pavilions, Bands, Share, Favorites and Events. Just click on the tab you want to get more information and you are ready to go. You will be able to view a map of the World Showcase or a list of the menus with prices and descriptions of the fare. The Events tab lists culinary demonstrations, descriptions of the events, pricing and if there is available tickets. I like the Favorites tab so you can easily add the cuisine or drinks you liked most to the list to remember at the end of the day. The Bands tab has the list of the Eat to the Beat Concert series with all the details, dates and times. Through the Share tab you will be able to access Twitter and Facebook to reveal what dishes you liked best. The mobile device app is designed to be used by QR codes posted on the menu boards around Epcot. By using a QR reader on your mobile device and scanning Spaceship Earth-shaped QR codes, guests visiting Epcot will have their web browsers directed to a web site. You can access this information at any time. Epcot International Food & Wine Festival begins Friday, September 30th and runs through November 13th.
