The holiday season here in Florida is delightful during the winter months so we like to partake in the festivities at Walt Disney World. They invited me to come out to their Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom and we were totally immersed into the holiday spirit.
Magic Kingdom is all decked out in Christmas decor, lights and a beautiful tree! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separate ticketed event on select nights until December 21st. The party begins at 7pm but your tickets allows you to enter the park at 4pm.
Get ready for a festive night filled with sweet treats, an enchanting parade, spectacular fireworks and so many memories you and your family will make throughout the evening.
There’s so much to do and see, so let me share with you our experience during the most wonderful time of the year.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade is truly magical. The characters step out in holiday outfits with pretty floats in Christmas decor. I love this parade for the music and how it’s snowing all around you. The Toy Wooden Soldiers are my favorite and be sure to be on the lookout for Santa and his reindeer.
The parade runs two times at 830pm and 11pm at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. I tend to enjoy the later parade time because it is less crowded. The one caveat to that is if there is inclement weather. If the weather is showing to be difficult with rain, then opt for the first parade since the second may not run.
Holiday Wishes Fireworks
The night sky lights up above Cinderella Castle with a special holiday fireworks display at 10pm.
The unique fireworks show for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party are the two best shows to catch. Perimeter fireworks all around you!
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration is a festive show where Mickey and Friends have a Christmas Party filled with classic and modern holiday music and fun! Shows are in front of the stage at Cinderella Castle at various times throughout the evening.
A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas
A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas show where all your Tomorrowland friends like Buzz Lightyear and Stitch have a Christmas Party that is out of this world. This show also has various times throughout the evening.
